Announcing: Foliad

AI has completely changed the way I work as a Product Manager, but also how I function as somebody with more ideas than ability to execute on them.

In a time where building is being made more accessible, I've found myself diving into new projects and things I've never done before just to learn how they work and learn new experiences.

That's all fine and well, but I quickly noticed an issue: I've got nowhere to make a record of all of this work and projects I've made.

Sure, I could spin up a WordPress site and go through all of the hoops, fussing with design, making sure it was SEO friendly, you know the drill. I'm entirely capable of that, but.. it's not necessarily my favorite thing to do.

If that stopped me, how does it impact people who don't have that ability?

That was my 'aha!' moment, and Foliad was the solution.

My goal with Foliad is to give people an easy to use interface to create their own digital portfolios. A resume does a great job of telling people what you've done, but a portfolio shows it instead.

If you're reading this, I invite you to dig in and get started on making your own portfolio.

Some parts may be a little rough around the edges - that's expected from an initiative I'm handling on nights, weekends, and early, coffee-fueled mornings before my day job as just one person.

But, we'll work through them and make sure Foliad exists as the platform everyone will want to show their work on.

I'm looking forward to showcasing to the world all the amazing work people are doing.
